Biography

There are so many important people in my life, but the most important ones are my family. However, the family member I wanted to talk about is my oldest brother, Jake. Jake was born on April 20, 1987 in Greenville, S.C. He grew up with his parents and younger sister in Anderson, S.C. Jake's whole elementary school career was spent at Concord Elementary School where him and a few of his friends even won the annual 5th grade talent show by dressing up as the men in black from the movie and created a dance to the song Men in Black by Will Smith. After he graduated from elementary school, Jake went to McCants Middle School for the next three years. He then became involved with the youth program at Trinity United Methodist Church. Jake then spent his four high school years at T.L. Hanna High School, where he graduated as an honor student. After graduation, he went to Tri-County Technical School for one year until he decided to do something more with his life. He then enlisted in South Carolina's National Guard. Jake spent a year training all over the United States, eventually graduating in generating. He still lives in Anderson with his friend, Miles, and works for a company who surveys land. His boss, Mr. McCoy, is an old friend of the family. He once said:
"Jake is one of the most hard-working employees I've ever hired. He has grown up to be such a tough, kind, and mature man. He always does what people asks and thinks of other before himself. He is going to go far in life!"
Jake enjoys doing the following:
  • running
  • hunting
  • spending time with his friends
  • watching football
  • anything outdoors
