Ticonderoga County school system has decided to get out of the restaurant business, thus shutting down The Eatery, located on State Street. Even though The Eatery was a place to help teach special-education students about the food-service industry, this declaration will be saving the school system up to an unnecessary $50,000 a year. School spokesman Randall Styles said, "It's something that is not needed anymore because we can provide the same level of instruction at other facilities."(read more)
